Clinical Exploration of the Application of Multidisciplinary Collaborative Diagnosis and Treatment System in Treating Menopausal Psychosomatic Disorders in Women

| Abstract: | Objective: To validate the clinical efficacy of the multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment system based on the Physiological Regulation, Psychological Adjustment, and Music Conditioning (PPM) model in treating menopausal psychosomatic disorders (MPSD) in women. Methods: Thirty patients with MPSD enrolled in Psychosomatic Clinics of Debao County Maternal and Child Health Hospital and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Zhaodong Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center between May and November 2025 were selected as study subjects. A single-arm clinical trial was conducted, in which the PPM model was adopted to treat patients with one or more of the seven complaints of somatic dysfunction symptoms: difficulty falling asleep, easy awakening, dizziness, chest tightness, constipation, frequent urination, and hot flashes. Furthermore, the efficacy of the treatment for the above seven symptoms was observed after 3 weeks of outpatient treatment and 10 weeks of home-based conditioning. Conclusion: The application of the PPM model-based multidisciplinary collaborative clinical diagnosis and treatment system exhibits remarkable efficacy in treating common somatic dysfunction symptoms in patients with MPSA, and no risks of medication, drug administration, or invasive intervention are observed, thereby demonstrating significant advantages in safety management. |
