词语簇和词语重复与阅读理解的关系

| 摘 要： | 本文探讨了词语簇和词语重复对英语阅读理解的影响，以及如何将这两种词汇学习策略应用于课堂教学。本文选取了《新视野大学英语》教材第一册中的一篇文章作为语篇分析的对象，提出了以下问题：如何将词语簇和词语重复的理论相结合？哪些词语簇的重复频率最高？重复词语簇和词语簇是否能帮助学生理解文本？本文的研究对象是60名中国大学生，他们的英语水平为中等。本文采用实验法，将研究对象随机分为实验组和对照组，每组30人。实验组接受词语簇和词语重复的训练，对照组接受常规的词汇教学。训练结束后，两组进行阅读理解测试，比较他们的阅读成绩。本文的研究结果显示，词语簇训练对英语阅读理解有显著的正向影响，而常规的词汇教学则没有明显的效果。本文的研究价值和意义在于：1. 为词汇教学和阅读教学提供理论和实践的依据，帮助教师和学生提高词汇知识和阅读理解能力；2. 为词语簇和词语重复与阅读理解的关系的研究提供新的视角和证据，丰富和发展词汇学习策略的理论和实践。 |

The Relationship Between Lexical Clusters, Word Repetition and Reading Comprehension

| Abstract: | This paper explores the relationship between lexical clusters and reading comprehension, and how to apply these two vocabulary learning strategies to classroom teaching. The paper selects an article from the textbook New Horizon College English Volume One as the object of discourse analysis, and raises the following questions: How to combine the theories of lexical cluster repetition and lexical clusters? Which lexical clusters have the highest repetition frequency? Can repeated lexical clusters and lexical clusters help students understand the text? The subjects of this study were 60 Chinese college students with intermediate English proficiency. The study used an experimental method, randomly dividing the subjects into two groups, one group receiving lexical cluster and lexical cluster repetition training, and the other group receiving conventional vocabulary teaching. After four weeks of training, the two groups took a reading comprehension test to compare their reading scores and reading strategies. The value and significance of this study are: To provide theoretical and practical basis for vocabulary teaching and reading teaching, and help teachers and students improve vocabulary knowledge and reading comprehension; To provide a new perspective and evidence for the study of the relationship between lexical clusters and reading comprehension, and enrich and develop the theory and practice of vocabulary learning strategies. |
