Abstract: Artificial ground freezing method is commonly used in shield tunnel end ground reinforcement, contact channel excavation and other water-rich ground reinforcement, in order to explore the construction process of artificial freezing method of red clay through room temperature, freezing and freezing and thawing three states of shear strength change rule, using conventional straight shear test, to carry out the different moisture content, freezing temperature and the three different freezing and thawing state of artificial freezing and thawing of the red clay shear strength characteristics of experimental research to reveal different conditions of the change rule of the soil shear strength. Under different conditions, the soil shear strength change rule. The results show that: (1) The freezing state of red clay shear strength increased significantly, compared with the room temperature state increased by 5.7 times, and the friction angle and cohesion within the soil are increased. (2) The freezing state of red clay specimens shear strength with the increase of water content is first increased and then decreased, in the water content of 30% of the maximum shear strength of 550kPa. And the lower the freezing temperature, the greater the shear strength, in -15°C freezing state maximum shear strength of 550kPa. The maximum shear strength reaches 580kPa in -15°C freezing condition. After freezing and thawing, the structure of red clay is disturbed, the sensitivity is increased, the shear strength is affected by the water content and freezing temperature, which is more obvious than the change of the normal temperature state specimen. (3) The lower the freezing temperature is, the greater the shear strength of red clay in the freezing condition is. The maximum shear strength, the adhesive force and the angle of internal friction of red clay in the freezing condition are increased significantly. After freezing and thawing the shear strength of red clay is reduced compared with the normal temperature state. After freezing and thawing, the shear strength of red clay decreased. The results of the study are of some significance in guiding the artificial freezing reinforcement of red clay strata.Abstract: Artificial ground freezing method is commonly used in shield tunnel end ground reinforcement, contact channel excavation and other water-rich ground reinforcement, in order to explore the construction process of artificial freezing method of red clay through room temperature, freezing and freezing and thawing three states of shear strength change r...Learn More
Abstract: Traditional settlements are an important material carrier of China's history and culture, carrying the unique cultural and spiritual connotations of generations. China has always attached great importance to the study of traditional architecture. Most of the existing researches on settlements focus on the traditional settlements in South China, however, the traditional settlements in the north also have very high research value. This article mainly uses the space syntax theory and its related software to analyze the whole shape and the spatial structure of Yujia village, which is a traditional settlement in North China. Different from previous qualitative or typological studies on settlements, spatial syntax has led us to the study of settlements into quantitative fields. What is more valuable is that spatial syntactic analysis not only bases on the users’ perception of space, but also provides a new combination for the study of the humanities and space. While carrying out the quantitative research of space, we must make a comprehensive analysis of the relevant humanistic elements so as to ensure the comprehensiveness and integrity of the methodology. The study of the spatial structure of traditional settlements can help us to formulate practical planning plans in the wave of urbanisation, so that the historical lineage can be better developed and passed on.Abstract: Traditional settlements are an important material carrier of China's history and culture, carrying the unique cultural and spiritual connotations of generations. Abstract: Replacing natural sand with machine-made sand has become an inevitable trend in civil engineering construction. Its promotion and application not only effectively alleviate the problem of insufficient natural sand supply, but also play a key role in practicing ecological civilization construction and promoting sustainable social development. However, the performance of machine-made sand concrete is influenced by various factors, and there are significant differences in the research and application levels of machine-made sand in different regions. A comprehensive theoretical system of machine-made sand has not yet been formed, especially the research on the early crack resistance of machine-made sand concrete is relatively limited. This article studies the composite ratio of cobblestone machine-made sand in the preparation process of limestone machine-made sand concrete based on the characteristics of limestone machine-made sand. We analyzed the effects of different replacement rates, water cement ratios, and sand ratios of limestone machine-made sand on the performance of machine-made sand concrete, and conducted a series of experimental studies. The experimental results show that the mechanical performance of limestone is optimal when the replacement rate of sand is 40%~60%, the water cement ratio is 0.38, and the sand ratio is 0.38. As the replacement rate of limestone mechanism sand increases, the performance of concrete may deteriorate. Moderately increasing the water adhesive ratio can improve its performance. Under the same conditions, an increase in sand content will improve the performance of concrete.Abstract: Replacing natural sand with machine-made sand has become an inevitable trend in civil engineering construction.
