Abstract: Objective: To explore the efficacy and safety of Onyx embolization in pediatric lower limb arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). Methods: The clinical data of a 3-year-old boy with AVMs were analyzed before and after Onyx embolization. Results: The child slowly developed a soft tissue mass with pain in the lateral left lateral thigh for approximately 2 years and had a history of local ulceration and bleeding 1 year ago. Two-dimensional ultrasound and color Doppler echocardiography showed an irregular soft tissue mass in the subcutaneous tissue of the right thigh, with unclear borders, rich blood flow signals, measurable arterial and venous blood flow. Lower extremity artery CT angiography (CTA) showed an irregular and abnormally enhanced vascular mass in the lateral left thigh with a lesion of about 3.9 cm * 2.4 cm * 1.0 cm, supplied by the deep femoral, popliteal and lateral knee arteries, and drained into the great saphenous vein. The child was confirmed with AVMs of the left lower limb. Under general anesthesia, the Marathon micro-catheter (Medtronic-ev3) was controlled to reach the feeding artery of the arteriovenous malformation of the left thigh. Onyx-18 was injected through the marathon microcatheter (Medtronic-ev3) at a speed of 0.10~0.15ml per minute to fully fill the focal chamber and then backward to fill the end of multiple branches of the feeding arteries. After Onyx embolization, the local swelling of the left lower limb lesion in the child resolved after 2 weeks. After 6 months of clinical follow-up, there was no local pain, ulcers, or bleeding. Abstract: Background: To investigate the changes of the proliferation of human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs) and the secretions of Type I collagen (COL1), Type III collagen (COL3) and fibronectin (FN) in different glucose concentrations. Methods: HGFs were cultured in the cell culture medium with different glucose concentrations (5.5 mmol/L (group A), 8.8 mmol/L (group B), 10 mmol/L (group C), and 15 mmol/L (group D)) for 7 days. The proliferation of HGFs was measured using an MTT method, and COL1, COL3, and FN were tested with ELISA. The results and their correlations were statistically analyzed. Results: As the glucose concentrations increased, the quantities of HGFs proliferation and various proteins secreted decreased. HGFs proliferation in groups C and D was significantly less than that in groups A and B (P<0.05). The proliferation in group D were significantly less than that in group C (P<0.05). The amount of COL1, COL3, and FN secreted by HGFs in groups C and D were significantly less than those in groups A and B (P<0.05). The secretions in group D were significantly less than that in group C (P<0.05). The positive correlations were shown between HGFs proliferation quantities and secretions of COL1 (r=0.686), COL3 (r=0.693) and FN (r=0.474) (P<0.05). Abstract: Aim: The role of CCND1 in gastric cancer (GC) was analyzed through bioinformatics to provide scientific basis for the early diagnosis and treatment of GC. Methods: The expression of CCND1 in (GC) was analyzed using R (3.6.3), Ualcan, and HPA, and to evaluate the relationship between CCND1 and clinicopathological features in patients of GC, so as to evaluate the value of CCND1 in the diagnosis of GC. At the same time, the correlation between CCND1 gene changes and its methylation with prognosis in patients of GC are explored by cBioPortal website, MethSurv and evaluate the role of CCND1 in immune cell infiltration. Results: The expression of CCND1 was abnormally high in GC, and was closely correlated with patient age (P=0.018), histological type (P=0.031), reflux history (P=0.036), and Barrett's esophagus (P=0.042). The sensitivity and specificity of CCND1 in the diagnosis of GC are 0.848 and 0.900, respectively, with positive predictive value of 0.944 and negative predictive value of 0.750. CCND1 gene mutation and amplification are the most common genetic changes in GC, and are not associated with patient prognosis. CCND1 methylation is associated with overall survival and disease-free survival of gastric cancer patients, while the prognosis of CCND1 hypermethylated gastric cancer patients are poor. CCND1 plays an important role in immune infiltration. Conclusions: In GC, the high expression of CCND1 is related to the clinicopathological features of patients and will become a biomarker for the diagnosis of gastric cancer. Abstract: Endometriosis (EMT) refers to the growth of endometrial tissue (glands and stroma) in other parts of the uterus than the body of the uterus. It is a common clinical disease of women. Patients with EMT often suffer from dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain, infertility, pelvic mass and other clinical symptoms, which affect the fertility, quality of life and health status of 6%-10% of women of childbearing age, and have a negative impact on the health of female reproductive system. Inflammation is an important factor in regulating pelvic pain in patients with EMT and is a risk factor for developing chronic pain. NLRP3 is composed of amino terminal pyranoid domain (PYD), central nucleotide binding and oligomerization domain (NOD), and C-terminal leucine-rich repeat domain (LRR), which can participate in the assembly of inflammatory bodies and constitute the innate immune system. Recent studies have found that the NLRP3 inflammatome plays an important role in endometriosis by promoting the production and secretion of pro-inflammatory factors and enhancing the migration and invasion ability of ectopic endometrial stromal cells.
