Abstract: Objective Recurrence and drug resistance in different thyroid cancer in the clinic are associated with tumor stem cells. To investigate the differences in transcript levels of tumor stem cell-associated genes in different thyroid cancer cell lines and their correlation with tumor pathways for identifing factors affecting thyroid cancer progression. Methods Wound healing assay was performed to analyze cell migration; to compare the transcript levels of tumor stem cell related genes CD133, OCT4, ABCG2, ALDH2, Nanog, CD44, CD24, EMT and thyroid specific genes in different thyroid cancer cell lines; to analyze the correlation between the above genes and tumor pathways and the correlation between genes using R software GSVA package combined with TCGA database. Results Wound healing results showed that thyroid cancer cell lines TPC-1 and ATC healed faster than normal cells. qPCR showed significantly different expression of EGFR, CD44, CD24 and ABCG2 in ATC and TPC-1 compared to Nthy-ori 3-1. EGFR and ABCG2 were highly expressed in ATC cell lines, while CD24 gene was highly expressed in TPC -1; TTF2 was significantly low expressed in both ATC and TPC-1 cell lines. Correlation analysis showed that ABCG2 and OCT4 were negatively correlated with inflammatory response, ALDH2 with P53 signaling pathway, CD24 with ECM degradation and P53 signaling pathway, Nanog with MYC target gene pathway, and CD44 with reactive oxygen species (ROS) gene upregulation in thyroid cancer; EGFR was positively correlated with TGFB signaling pathway. The genes ALDH2, ABCG2 and CD44 were significantly and positively correlated with TPO and TG. Conclusion The transcriptional levels of tumor stem cell genes differed greatly among different types of thyroid cancer and were significantly associated with tumor signaling pathways. It may be related to signaling pathways that exacerbate the development of thyroid cancer.Abstract: Objective Recurrence and drug resistance in different thyroid cancer in the clinic are associated with tumor stem cells. Abstract: In recent years, the numbers of infertility were increasing rapidly, which was affected by the environmental pollution, the pressure from work and life, the delay of childbearing age, and so on. The assisted reproduction technology (ART) was one of the key technologies for resolving infertility. However, the pregnancy rate of the ART ranged between 50% and 60%, thus, how to improve the pregnancy rate of ART was a hotpot in the field of ART. Lots of the nodes were included in the process of ART, including scientific preparation of pregnancy for the infertility couples, the checking of the reason for infertility, the suitable controlling ovulation stimulation strategy, embryo culturing, embryo transferring, pregnancy checking and prevention of abortion. The insufficient preparation of each node could cause the failure of ART. Thus, analyzing the factors which affected the pregnancy rate of ART, such as lacking the preparation of pregnancy, errors made in the process of diagnosis for infertility, unsuitable controlling ovulation stimulation strategy, unsuitable medicine usage after embryo transferring, and finding the possibly relevant solutions strategy to improve the pregnancy rate of ART, which would provide useful reference for improving the pregnancy rate of ART and has important theoretical value and application prospect in future in the field of human reproduction.Abstract: In recent years, the numbers of infertility were increasing rapidly, which was affected by the environmental pollution, the pressure from work and life, the delay of childbearing age, and so on. Abstract: Uterine fibroids are the most common gynecological benign tumors in women during reproductive period, which often lead to anemia, abortion, infertility, and seriously affect the physical and mental health of patients. At present, the treatment of uterine fibroids includes conservative observation, drug therapy and surgical treatment. For patients with uterine preservation needs, laparoscopic myomectomy is currently the preferred surgical method for uterine fibroid preservation. In recent years, with the development of minimally invasive technology, transumbilical single-site surgery (TU-LESS) has been widely used in gynecological minimally invasive surgery. Compared with traditional laparoscopic surgery, TU-LESS can not only ensure the operation effect, but also has the advantages of less trauma, faster recovery and no trace after operation, especially suitable for female patients; However, due to the problems of limited visual field, "chopstick effect", difficulty in forming "operation triangle", difficulty in suturing and tumor extraction, the application of TU-LESS in myomectomy is relatively backward, and there are still many surgical difficulties to be overcome in the process of operation, which requires a certain learning curve to master the surgical skills. With the continuous practice and exploration, the application of transumbilical single-port laparoscopic myomectomy (SPLM) will become more and more mature with the summary of operation skills and the invention of special instruments. This article reviews the application progress of transumbilical single-port laparoscopy in myomectomy and the key points and difficulties in learning this operation.Abstract: Uterine fibroids are the most common gynecological benign tumors in women during reproductive period, which often lead to anemia, abortion, infertility, and seriously affect the physical and mental health of patients. Abstract: Familial Dysalbuminemic Hyperthyroxinemia (FDH) is thought of no clinical significance, but tends to to misdiagnosed and mistreated as Graves’ hyperthyroidism with long time. In a Chinese family to explore clinical characteristics, hereditary features and gene variation of FDH and its effect on pregnancy. Methods: Two propostitus (a father and his son) with hyperthyroidism were re-diagnosed as FDH due to the canonical profile of measured thyroid hormones. After screening thyroid function of the whole family, eight affected of FDH were identified among total thirteen lineal relatives. They were studied in terms of clinical history, biochemical and hormone examination, thyroid imaging and TSH secreting test by dexamethasone and bromocriptine. Three members accepted gene analysis with the next generation sequencing followed by Sanger method. Productive history was investigated in five spouse of the whole family. Results: In the two propostitus, FDH exhibited very high total thyroxine (T4) and mild high total triiodinethyronine (T3), and normal free T4 and T3 besides normal thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). In addition, ultrasound discovered diffuse goiter and enhanced blood flow, and 99mTc uptake increased, while TSH receptor antibody and pituitary MRI scan remained normal. Other six family members had similar changes of the thyroid hormones and normal TSH which could be suppressed dramatically by dexamethasone and bromocriptine, then were suspected of FDH and thereafter confirmed with gene analysis. Among these eight FDH, four were misdiagnosed with hyperthyroidism and mistakenly received anti-thyroid medication at least one year. Gene analysis of three members revealed R218H variation of albumin gene. Conclusions: R218H associated FDH shows canonical changes of thyroid hormones with increased thyroid function, high penetrance and misdiagnose rate with hyperthyroidism, it exerts no effect on pregnancy.Abstract: Familial Dysalbuminemic Hyperthyroxinemia (FDH) is thought of no clinical significance, but tends to to misdiagnosed and mistreated as Graves’ hyperthyroidism with long time. Abstract: Since the discovery of COVID-19 at the end of 2019, COVID-19 has begun to circulate in various countries around the world, and the virus strains are constantly mutating. The policy of "dynamic zero clearing" implemented in China has achieved good epidemic prevention effect. In the spring and summer of 2021, the local recurrent strains in Chinese Mainland and the imported variants Delta strain and Delta+ strains formed another wave of epidemic. Objective: In order to further study the changes of important parameters such as the basic reproduction number and infection rate of mixed strains, the number risk of confirmed cases and asymptomatic cases in the future was predicted according to the SAIR mathematical model. The effects of various epidemic prevention measures are discussed. Methods: Formula calculation and data fitting were used. Results: The values of important parameters were calculated again, and the effect data of epidemic prevention measures were discussed. Conclusion: The number of confirmed cases, the number of asymptomatic infections, and the development of the number of cases simulated by our SAIR model are in good agreement with the actual data. The new infection parameters and other data show that the infectivity of the new mixed strains is much stronger than that of the original strains in the past. In particular, the number of asymptomatic infections has increased significantly. We need to draw everyone's attention. The simulation shows that all strict epidemic prevention measures are effective, and strict epidemic prevention should be adhered to.Abstract: Since the discovery of COVID-19 at the end of 2019, COVID-19 has begun to circulate in various countries around the world, and the virus strains are constantly mutating. Abstract: Object: To study the research situation and direction and hot spots of Chinese and western medicine in the field of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in the past 36 years by bibliometrics. Methods: The paper selected the key words related to surgery streatment, continuous positive pressure ventilation (CPAP) and traditional Chinese medicine treatment to obstructive sleep apnea. The CNKI, Wanfang, VIP and sinomed databases were subject searched respectively. The publication year, journals, authors, institutions, directions and emerging hotspots were measured and visualized by vosviewer 1.6.1. Results: Over the past 36 years, the number of relevant documents has riseen, and the research scale of surgical treatment is significantly higher than that of CPAP and traditional Chinese medicine. Since 2017, the literature on surgery and CPAP treatment began to decline, and the research hotspot of traditional Chinese medicine began to rise. From the perspective of publishing journals, there are obviously more small-scale teams formed for surgical treatment research, and different teams will also form larger author cooperation teams through mutual cooperation; however, there is less cooperation between CPAP treatment and TCM treatment research teams, and research hotspots are relatively scattered. Conclusion: In recent years, the surgical treatment of OSA has begun to enter a bottleneck period. Foreign countries attach great importance to evidence-based research such as follow-up, retrospective research, prospective research, randomized controlled trials, and systematic evaluation. At present, China lacks evidence-based research with large samples and multi centers, especially based on the special growth law of children, there is a lack of follow-up research on surgical resection of children with adenoid and tonsillar hypertrophy and the treatment of OSA with Chinese medicine, acupuncture and manipulation.Abstract: Object: To study the research situation and direction and hot spots of Chinese and western medicine in the field of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in the past 36 years by bibliometrics.
